The
majority of Bear Tex (non-woven) products consist of a non-woven
web of nylon fibres impregnated throughout with abrasive grains
and bonded with resin. This structure produces a three dimensional
abrasive product with a unique cushioning action.
The dispersion of abrasive grains throughout the web provides
a continuous supply of new abrasive grains as the old grains
and fibre are worn away with grinding use.
Since Bear Tex products are not designed for stock removal,
it is often said that Bear Tex products begin where conventioal
abrasives leave off. |
