Instructions
Single Point tools should be rigidly mounted
at an angle of 10 to 15 degrees with a line
drawn through the centre of the wheel, pointingin
the direction of wheel travel. Point of contact
should be slightly below the centerline of wheel.

Grit Impregnated Tools
| Grit
Impregnated Dressers or CDP dressers are used to dress
large wheels like Cylindrical and Centreless which are
normally dressed with large carat Single Point Dressers.
Grit Impregnated tools are made with crushed diamond particles
sintered in a hard carbide matrix, and can be used for
dressing with 3 times more traverse rates compared to
single point dressers. They are also long lasting campared
to single point dressers and hence result in lower set
up times. The shank sizes normally stocked are 12.5 dia.
x 150 mm length. Special shanks are also available on
request. |

Blades
Blades
are made by setting high quality diamonds in a layered
fashion in a Tungsten Carbide Matrix. Blades are used
for dressing, step dressing, and radiussing large wheels
like Crankshaft grinding wheels and Centreless wheels.

Point tools or Cluster tools are made by setting
high quality diamonds on a Tungsten Carbide Matrix. They
are used for severe dressing applications involving high
traverse rates of dressing. |

For special dressers, specify diamond type, shank details, and

Enclose drawing of dressers showing details wherever possible.
